Scrying

Scrying is a spiritual gift that allows someone to divine the future or the answers to questions by using a physical object. Usually the "seers" use a reflective purpose like water, a mirror, a crystal ball, but some use smoke or fire to see also. 
Scrying comes from the Old English word "descry" meaning "to make out dimly" or "to reveal."
