THE OLD HAWKINSVILLE HOSPITAL aka TAYLOR MEMORIAL HOSPITAL
THE OLD HAWKINSVILLE HOSPITAL INVESTIGATIVE OVERNIGHT IN HAWKINSVILLE, GEORGIA
SEPTEMBER 26th, 2015
Hawkinsville, Georgia sits in Pulaski County. This area was originally the capital of the Creek Indian Confederacy. It was the home of the Creek Indians until the turn of the nineteenth century when treaties declared it American territory. The area has kept some of this mysterious energy from the time of the Creek Indians' control.
The Taylor Memorial Hospital opened its doors in 1937. It was the pride of the county at the time it was built. As a matter of fact, it was the only hospital south of Macon, Georgia. During her time, she proved her importance to the county. Lives came into the world inside her rooms, and lives were lost here too. The doors closed over thirty years ago when a newer medical center was built. Yet it doesn't seem like the Old Hawkinsville Hospital is ready to rest in peace. She has her secrets and her ghosts, and in time the word started getting around about the old girl. People began to hear voices, see shadows, feel uncomfortable being in certain areas. As her reputation spread, people travelled to investigate the stories for themselves. My good friends at Ghost Eyes asked me to join them for an investigation, and as we learned about the property, I know this was a place we had to investigate.
On Sept 26th, we will be taking over the Old Hawkinsville Hospital for a Southern Ghosts' and Ghost Eyes Paranormal Joint Investigative Overnight. We will have access to all of its haunted rooms. We will try to uncover some of the hidden history of this amazing property. To give each investigator the best chance for success, this trip is incredibly limited.
